As part of the international mission in support of Haitian justice, 10 police officers members of a new unit of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) specialized against sexual crimes (currently active in Port-au-Prince with 3 members ) have successfully completed intensive training at the National Police School of Quebec in Nicolet (Center) and will reinforce the unit already in operation. The Haitian police officers, all with university level have not been idle, since they had to assimilate in a week a program that lasts normally 4 weeks.

This training, organized by the UN and funded by Norway, will put into practice in Haiti the same effective techniques as those of the Quebec investigators. Sub-Lieutenant Fils of the PNH, will be responsible on his return to transmit the training to other police to replicate at the national level this new investigation service.
