As part of the government's education roadmap for the construction of 15,000 classrooms across the country, more than 50 schools financed by the State Treasury are under construction or undergoing rehabilitation.

Through the Universal, Free and Compulsory Schooling Program (PSUGO) 30 new construction projects are being studied in different regions of the country.

To this must be added support for this national effort, from several international partners, notably the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and Japanese cooperation https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-25013-haiti-education-donation-of-$20m-from-the-japanese-government-to-build-12-schools.html , with a view to respecting by 2030 the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), unanimously adopted on 25 September 2015 by more than 150 countries at the United Nations Summit, in particular in the field of education and the school offer.
