On Friday, July 27, 2018, at the Street Saint Paul in Petit-Goâve in front of the Petit-Goâve Sisters' establishment, Dr. Jasmin Fred proceeded during a ceremony, in the presence of family members and many personalities from the City, to the unveiling of the bust of Roseline Vaval, a former student of the school of the sisters of Petit-Goâve, shot dead on March 5, 1990 on the gallery of his house. An assassination that led to the departure of the provisional President of the time, Prosper Avril.
