Thursday in a press conference, in the framework of the 20th anniversary of the assassination of the priest Jean Pierre Louis aka "Pè Ti Jan", the National Episcopal Commission of the Catholic Church Justice and Peace (JILAP) and the Platform of Haitian Organizations of Haitian Human Rights (POHDH) call on the authorities to put an end to endless investigations in Haiti.

20 years later, while the murderers continue to live in impunity "It is time for the Haitian justice to put an end to the traditional formula : 'the investigation continues' (l’enquête se poursuit)," insisted Antoine Viau, JILAP Coordinator for the parish of Notre Dame du Mont Carmel (Bizoton).

While calling for justice and reparation for the family of "Pè Ti Jan" the Commission expressed its deep concern at the impunity that is raging in Haiti.
