Meetings with the Haitian community and members of the press in Queens and Spring Valley; visit to the Town Hall of Spring; meeting in New Jersey with Senator Joseph Cryan and Municipal Councilor Michelle S. Delisfort; multiple interventions at the 4th annual summit of Agro-Industry at the UN; Briefing with Senator David Carlucci to ask President Donald Trump to treat the issue of Haitians with more compassion, Senator Jean had a busy agenda during his stay. At the fabulous Great North evening in Miami, organized by Babas Production, Senator Jean known as singer under the name "Jackito" thrilled the audience who sang with him successes of his repertoire. At the opening of the summit at the UN, the North-East elected official pleaded for the establishment of an agricultural production system that is economically profitable for Haiti and the establishment of an environment conducive to prosperity, social well-being, through agriculture and industry. The President of the Agriculture and Environment Committee, owner of a large agricultural company in Haiti, Jacques Sauveur Jean remains convinced that investing in Agriculture and Industry is the best way to reduce poverty.
