As part of the International Youth Day (12 August), the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) organized at the Gymnasium Vincent, talks in workshop on "the construction of a space secure for young people".

Hundreds of young people from different neighborhoods in the metropolitan area shared their understanding of a secure space with the Ministry's animators. The different youth groups have recognized the need to promote social peace and live together.

The construction of this secure environment depends on the decisions that will be made by the leaders concerned, as well as on the behaviors that will be adopted by young people who constitute an important segment of the population both in terms of their demographics and their potential.

Olivier Pierre Sterne, Director of Youth and Integration at the Ministry, invited the Haitian youth to unite in order to fully play their role in the reconstruction of the country while reiterating the desire of the MJSAC to continue to supervise and guide young people to make them able to take over the reindeer of the country.
