iciHaiti - Social : Awareness project on gender-based violence

Thursday in Péguy-Ville, the Minujusth partner organization Gouvernance Group, officially launched an "Awareness and community mobilization project on sexual and gender-based violence" this Thursday, August 16, 2018.
The project will be implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Women's Affairs and Women's Rights over a period of 4 months.
This project aims globally to contribute to the reduction of gender-based violence through community mobilization and advocacy with community and state actors. It will be implemented in three departments, Grand'Anse, Sud and Artibonite and will reach more than 190,000 direct beneficiaries through awareness actions and the legal process to complain, and by the establishment of pilots "Task Force" , made up of community and State representatives, to support the judicial follow-up of cases filed in the courts, and to identify the obstacles in the handling of these cases.
