iciHaiti - Environment : Synergies of actions to address the problems related to climate change
The Haitian Red Cross, the Red Cross / Red Crescent Climate Center and the team "Together, against Climate Change, for a sanitary environment in Haitian unity" (ECEAUH) met recently to discuss possible synergies of actions to address issues related to climate change, environmental protection and non-biodegradable waste management.
It was the Youth Red Cross that opened this meeting with the ECEAUH with the presentation of their main lines of intervention and possible cooperation, resulting in the establishment of a partnership established on a basis of cooperation winner-winner.
The Dutch Red Cross and the Red Cross / Red Crescent Climate Center have expressed their interest in supporting, within the framework of the Partnership for Resilience program, certain activities of the ECEAUH, including advocacy, educational and awareness-raising materials.
