From Saturday 25 to Tuesday, August 28, 2018, Ambassador Santiago Mourão, Under-Secretary General of International Cooperation, Trade Promotion and Cultural Themes of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, will make a working visit to Port-au-Prince.

During his stay, Ambassador Mourão will hold meetings among others with the resigning Ministers Aviol Fleurant (Planning) and Marie Gréta Roy Clément (Health).

In addition, accompanied by Dr. Lauré Adrien Director-General of the Ministry of Health, the Brazilian diplomat will visit the Community Reference Hospital (HCR) "Zilda Arns" and the Haitian Institute of Rehabilitation (IHR), in Bon Repos, two medical infrastructures managed by the Brazilian cooperation.

He will also take advantage of his stay to meet students in Portuguese (official language of Brazil) of the Brazil-Haiti Cultural Center (CCBH), in Pétion-ville.
