On Saturday, just after 1:30 pm, 3 Haitians and 3 Jamaicans were arrested at sea by the maritime police off Norwich in Portland, Jamaica, aboard a 33-foot fiberglass boat with two outboard motors.

Police investigators revealed that a significant amount of Haitian brand fuel and water was also recovered. The 6 individuals were placed in custody at the Castle Police Station and should be charged on Tuesday charged with immigration offenses (human trafficking)
