At the request of the UN Security Council, Minujusth has created a mechanism to monitor progress in implementing a two-year exit strategy, with objectives for the passage to a United Nations presence in Haiti other than a peacekeeping operation.

In collaboration with the United Nations country team and Haitian stakeholders, the United Nations has continued to collect and analyze data on 46 indicators that show progress in achieving the 11 goals of the Minujust are uneven.

Minujusth is aware of the need to "redouble efforts to ensure that the goals are achieved and provide a solid foundation for strengthening the rule of law, consolidating stability and moving towards sustainable development. "
