During this meeting, Moïse reiterated his administration's commitment to creating the conditions for lasting stability and peace in the country. He reiterated that his whole effort is to ensure that the current actions of the international community in Haiti help the country to do sustainablly without international aid.

La Lime, said her pleasure to be in this country where she lived when she was a child. She highlighted her mandate to ensure that Minujusth contributes to the ongoing strengthening of the judicial system, institutions for the promotion and protection of human rights, as well as the continuation of the process of strengthening the National Police of Haiti and insisted the urgency of strengthening the rule of law and definitively solving the problem of prolonged pretrial detention.

Regarding the United Nations commitment to the development process of Haiti as advocated by the Haitian government, the Head of State asked, especially, the support of the Minujusth for a strengthening of the scientific police, the creatiioin of a rural police and strengthening the correctional system.
