iciHaiti - PetroCaribe : The CCIH fully supports the request for accountability
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Haiti (CCIH) says support "[...] without reservation, the request for accountability on the PetroCaribe agreement and welcomes the announcement by the Superior Court of Accounts and Administrative Disputes (CSA/CA) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-25458-haiti-news-zapping.html of its decision to conduct an impartial audit of all projects funded by the aggrement."

The Chamber hopes "That the auditors and judges have for compass the strict respect of the rules dictated by the laws and regulations. That the state authorities, in particular the organs of the Judiciary, the Central Financial Intelligence Unit (UCREF), the Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC), the National Commission for Public Procurement (CNMP) and the General Directorate Taxes (DGI), prepare, following the conclusions of the Superior Court of Accounts and Administrative Contentious, to give justice to whom justice is due, to punish those and those who have broken the law by diverting funds to the detriment of an entire nation and to take steps to recover the funds due to the state.

The CCIH calls on the population to remain calm and vigilant and to continue to peacefully urge our authorities, both the Executive and the Legislative and Judiciary, to conduct the affairs of the State expeditiously and transparently to the strict benefit of the community [...]"
