Monday the Inspector General Carl-Henry Boucher Central Director of the Administrative Police (DCPA) went to the Directorate of Tourist Police (Politour) where he held a briefing with the Director of the Politour Police Principal Commissioner, Gary Verdilus, on the current status and prospects of this Unit, for the attention of the Police officers, executives and administrative staff of the PoliTour.

Recall that Inspector General Carl-Henry, one of the designers of the PoliTour project was the first Commander of this Unit (Sept 2013 - April 2016) and that Commissioner Verdilus Gary was his Deputy during this period before being promoted to the head of the PoliTour in May 2016.

In addition, a working session involving the Commander of the PoliTour, the Director General of the Ministry of Tourism and the Director of the Cabinet of the Minister of Tourism focused in particular on the impact of PoliTour in the tourism sector and on some current files concerning the operation of PoliTour in general.
