Recall that the Brigade for the Protection of Minors (BPM), is a specialized unit of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) part of the office of criminal affairs of the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ), whose mission is to prevent abuse of children across the country. This unit has jurisdiction over the whole of the Haitian territory and includes four sections: minors victims, minors in conflict with the law, domestic violence and a section dealing with social surveys.
