iciHaiti - Education : Phase II of the Project «Haiti wins : read, write and succeed»
With the goal of strengthening the reading and writing skills of 1st and 2nd year of fundamental of 52 schools in the Northeast Department, the Project "Haiti wins : read, write and succeed" entered in its Phase II on 20 September.

"This project has significantly improved the skills of teachers and reduced the expenditure of parents on the purchase of materials," said Lusaka Kidianga, Director of the National School Congregational Faith and Joy Dilaire, adding "The children are the main beneficiaries because the results start to be felt in my school; since already children are beginning to read and write better compared to last year, especially in the 2nd year AF."

Recall that the project is implemented in partnership with the Departmental Directorate of the Ministry of National Education with funding from UNICEF Haiti and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID - Haiti). In this second phase, the team intends to use the lessons learned from the application of the "M ap li ak kè kontan" method of the previous phase to better support children.
