Friday, 13 Haitians were arrested in the border area of Jimaní (South-West, Province Independencia), by members of the intelligence service (J-2) of the Ministry of Defense belonging to the new unit of intervention inter-army "Cerca Fronterizo", for trying to illegally pass through several motorcycles stolen in Dominican territory, according to the information of J-2.

Note that the service of J-2, in the new inter-army unit composed of 360 soldiers, includes 15 members deployed in the provinces of Montecristi, Elías Piña, Pedernales, Dajabón and Jimaní.
