iciHaiti - Culture : The organization Miss Haiti, forced to change Miss

Miss Haiti Organization wishes to inform the public that Haiti will be represented from October 21st to November 9th at the 58 th edition of Miss International in Japan, by Miss Cassandra Chéry.

Miss Haiti Organization explains "Due to Miss International's new rules, we were forced to replace Miss Merlie Fleurizard (26), who was elected on July 5th at the Miss Haiti 2018 Final Ceremony at the Marriott Hotel by Miss Chery.

Miss International Organization requires that the candidate be a national elected and be under 26 years of age.

Note that Merlie Fleurizard (26 years old) and Cristina Cadet (26 years old) Miss Haiti's first runner-up having reached this age we had to call on Cassandra Chery (22 years old) according to the suggestions of Miss International.

On the other hand, Merlie Fleurizard will represent Haiti in the Miss Panamerican International contest from October 14 to October 20, 2018 and Cristina Cadet will represent Haiti in the "Reina Hispanoamericana" contest in Bolivia.
