"Following the call for candidacy for the post of Rector of the Public University of Artibonite in Gonaives (UPAG) and that of the Public University of Grand'Anse (UPGA) and after interview and evaluation of the files of applicants by the Selection Committee, Doctors Jean Odile Étienne and Jean Rony Medy were selected to occupy respectively the position of Rector of UPAG and UPGA.

The Ministry requests the collaboration of students and staff of these two institutions to the new Rectors of UPAG and UPGA for the full success of their mission," says Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet, the Minister of National Education.
