iciHaiti - Agriculture : 89 Haitian technicians trained at Dominican University ISA

The Dominican University ISA (Higher Institute of Agriculture) located Santiago de Los Caballeros, has completed the training of 34 Haitian technicians, 16 in the animal production sector and 18 in the agricultural production sector under the "Project of Capacity Development of Agricultural and Forestry Techniques of the Highlands of Haiti" (PROAMOH 2) which makes a total of 89 technicians trained in this 2nd phase of the project.
This training, which aims to develop the skills of agricultural technicians and foresters of Haiti in the agricultural systems of the mountainous areas, took place within the framework of the tripartite cooperation agreement Japan-Haiti- Dominican Republic of continuity of the project https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-15985-haiti-agriculture-japan-and-the-dominican-republic-will-help-haitian-farmers.html , whose main objective is to train Haitian technicians to improve the agricultural production capacity in Haiti.
