iciHaiti - Tourism : An international summit in Cap-Haïtien postponed due to insecurity

Tourism Haiti inc. and Tourism Innovation Inc. organizers of the 2018 edition of the Summit on Tourism and Innovation, initially scheduled for November 14-17 in the city of Cap-Haitien, announced Thursday the postponement of this international event in February 2019 (21-24) "[...] because of a situation of growing social unrest in the North [...]"
Remember that this event was intended to bring together different stakeholders from the tourism industry to discuss some of the most creative, relevant, technology-driven ideas to help advance the industry. The event was intended to serve as a platform for participants to join 50 global and local tourism leaders and strategic partners, as well as participating leaders, including Uber, CNN Travel, BBC Travel, Booking.com Hospitality Group and Fatima Group who were expected at this event.
