Last week at the Art Center of Port-au-Prince, in the presence of Jean Michel Lapin the Minister of Culture, Laurent Bonneau Head of Cooperation of the Embassy of France, took the floor to salute the work of the painter Frantz Zephirin who, thanks to his brushes, gave a second life to the Pleyel piano of the Residence de France destroyed during the 2010 earthquake.

On the other hand, Bonneau announced a donation to the Art Center of 200 art books from the private French collection of Patrick Prado, sent to Haiti thanks to the support of the French Embassy.

The evening continued with the first concert of the 2nd edition of the International Piano Festival of Haiti, conducted by Franco-Haitian pianist Célimène Daudet at the initiative of the project Haiti Piano Project and with which the Institut Français In Haiti and the Alliance Française de Jacmel.

The event ended with a cocktail offered by the Ambassador of France.
