In a note, the General Directorate of the Town Hall of Port-au-Prince inform residents of the town that the road service resumed operations Thursday, November 22 from noon exceptionally.

"The General Directorate apologizes for failing to provide normal garbage collection due to the tense situation in the city in the last 72 hours.

In order to protect its employees and ensure the safety of equipment, the General Directorate of the Town Hall was unfortunately obliged to temporarily suspend the Roads Department until a more favorable security climate was restored in the commune.

The General Directorate of the Administration Communale of Port-au-Prince again apologizes for any inconvenience that this situation may have occasioned and thanks you for your understanding."
