The Association of Industries of Haiti (ADIH) is indignanted face the acts of barbarity perpetrated in Malpasse on November 24th https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-26214-haiti-flash-angry-mob-attacks-the-customs-of-malpasse-at-least-6-dead.html where 4 customs officer lost their lives burned alive, highlighting "it is again a revolting situation, image of our society arrived at lowest in the violence, the monstrosity and the impunity.

The ADIH can not remain indifferent to the families, friends and colleagues of our four customs officers, bereaved because of the impassibility and complacency of a system that continues to engender hatred and terror and expresses its sympathies to families and friends two other citizens who lost their lives in this tragedy.

The ADIH bows to the remains of these people who have died in the exercise of their duty and asks the authorities, especially the judiciary, to shed light on this revolting drama.

In the fight against smuggling, we are all customs officers !"
