iciHaiti - Culture : Wilbert Gilles winner of an international logo contest

Edwing Charles the Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action, accompanied by several officials of the Ministry, received Wilbert Gilles a young Haitian graphic designer resident in Croix-des-Bouquets, who won the First Prize of the international competition of logo of the Conference of Ministers of the Youth, Sports of La Francophonie (CONFEJES) and congratulated him for having distinguished himself with such brilliance at this international competition.

Minister Charles said he was proud of the victory of Wilbert Gilles who showed creativity, through his immense talent as a graphic designer. Thanks to him, Haiti has once again projected a positive image internationally, especially in the French-speaking world. For the Minister, this First Prize honors the country, and once again highlights the potential of our young people in various fields.

Launched as part of the 50th anniversary of CONFEJES, this logo contest attracted 98 young people aged 18 to 35, from 43 French-speaking countries. The work of the young Haitian graphic designer has captured the attention of the jury who has retained his logo for 50 years of the CONFEJES

The Logo will be unveiled on December 5, 2018, at the headquarters of CONFEJES, in Dakar, Senegal.
