iciHaiti - Insecurity : Important police operation in the neighborhood of Portail St Joseph

Sunday around 3:00 am, a major operation of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), involving several specialized units including the Departmental Unit of Maintenance of Order (UDMO), the Brigade of Operation and Departmental Intervention (BOID), the Corps of Motorized Intervention Brigades (CIBM) and police officers from Minujusth took place in the neighborhood of Portail St Joseph (La Saline area).
During this operation 65 people were arrested and several criminals actively sought were arrested including the head of the Tokyo Gang, Dossous Paulest to Street Porcelain (St-Martin).
In addition, the PNH has seized a stolen vehicle, drugs, documents and several assault weapons (AK47, Uzi...) and numerous ammunition.
