iciHaiti - Social : Reproductive health of women and youth with special needs
At a ceremony organized jointly by the Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH), the United Nations Fund for Population (UNFPA), the Association of Women and Girls in the Sun (AFAS) and the Haiti Union of Disabled Women (UFMORH), the BSEIPH presented the report of the study on the reproductive health of women and young people with special needs in the West.
The report reveals that the situation of young people with disabilities calls for assistance from society and recommends, among other things, psycho-social and psycho-emotional help and adequate sex education to better inform women and young people with special needs on sexuality and reproductive health.
