iciHaiti - Tourism : Towards a sustainable partnership between the Ministry and the Cap-Haïtien Town Hall

In the context of the grand project of urban development "Cap 2020", Marie Christine Stephenson, the Minister of Tourism at the head of a delegation composed of its Director General Andy Durosier, members of his cabinet and officials of a delegation of the city hall of New Orleans, met this week the City Council of the City Council of Cap Haitien.

Minister Stephenson took advantage of these exchanges to lay the foundations for a lasting partnership between the Ministry of Tourism and the City of Cap-Haïtien to help the city, national heritage, to reposition itself as a must-see tourist destination in the Caribbean, which will attract potential investors to explore the business opportunities offered by the commune of Cap-Haïtien and the North in particular and to create sustainable jobs.

For its part, the members of the delegation of the city hall of New Orleans expressed the wish to accompany technically and financially the city of Cap Haitien in the perspective of major projects of urban development.
