As Christmas approaches, the Haitian Conference of Religious (CHR) in a year-end message, strongly denounces impunity, corruption and violence and calls for justice and dialogue.

Extracts from the CHR message :

"...as we approach Christmas, let's say a categorical no to the reign of impunity, to the shameless waste of the country's resources, to injustice, to lies, to widespread corruption, to institutionalized violence, to secular division and systematic contempt for youth [...]

We say and reaffirm our yes to justice, good and sound management of our resources, transparency, peace, concord, dialogue, accompaniment of youth and yes to truth and life [...]

While remaining vigilant and vigilant in prayer, we religious men and women in Haiti, would like to reiterate our unwavering solidarity to a whole people who have lived for more than 200 years in the permanent expectation of a well-being and in the constant struggle with a view to access to decent housing, adequate health care, adequate and equitable education and the enjoyment of fundamental rights [...]"
