iciHaiti - Saint-Louis du Sud : Dragnet against a network of narcotics

Thursday, December 20, as part of an operation conducted jointly by the National Police of Haiti (PNH) the police of the Coast Guard and those of the Brigade against the Trafficking of Narcotics (BLTS) by the National Police of Haiti in Saint-Louis du Sud, in two localities called "An Sable" and "La Pointe" very frequented by drug traffickers, the police seized : 5 firearms, of which four pistols and a Taurus TFW21143 (a weapon stolen to the PNH), 4,327 rounds, a certain amount of marijuana, 5 vehicles, 4 motorcycles, 3 scales, 3 boat engines and a large sum of money.
During this operation, the PNH arrested 10 individuals, including two Jamaicans who entered Haiti illegally.
