The Ministry of Public Health reports that out of 3,679 nursing students who participated in the official exams held last October, the pass rate was only 19.92% (733 successful candidates).

On the podium, the National School of Nurses of Les Cayes won all the honors with a success rate of 98%, followed in second place by the American University of Modern Sciences of Haiti with 97% and in the 3rd place. Notre Dame University of Haiti in Les Cayes with 93% success.

The MSPP faces a huge challenge : that to improve the quality of education for the medical profession.

For the Ministry of Education, faced with such a failure rate in official exams, the challenges to be met is significant and proves the need for a real reform in nursing schools where visibly the quality of teaching is the cause.
