iciHaiti - Deaths : The CTMO hard hit by the death of Alain Douge
Luc Especa President of the Tripartite Implementation Commission (CTMO) of the HOPE law Hemispheric Opportunity through Partnership for Encouragement and Josseline Colimon Fethière, Special Worker Ombudsman of the Clothing Industry, announce with sadness the tragic death of Alain Douge.

"This death leaves a big gap in our organization. In addition to his duties as Executive Director Alain Douge, as Private Sector Representative on the Commission, he managed the visa issuing system in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Trade Division within the Department of Commerce and Industry responsible for issuing visas and export documents for the shipment of goods of contractors operating under the HOPE Act.

In addition, Mr. Douge was a member of several Industry Commissions, including the Intersectoral Commission on the follow-up of the commitments of the ONA (National Old Age Insurance Office) and the OFATMA (Office of Accident Insurance Labor, Sickness and Maternity) vis-à-vis policyholders of the textile sector and the tripartite working on the redrafting of the Haitian Labor Code.

We have taken the precautionary measures to facilitate exports and are working on a contingency plan to avoid stopping of the service."
