Delis Herasme, the Minister-Counselor of the Dominican Embassy in Port-au-Prince, on behalf of Ambassador Alberto Despradel, categorically denied Thursday evening information circulating on the internet suggesting that a Dominican was murdered Thursday morning by a Haitian who allegedly entered the premises of the Dominican Embassy with a weapon.

Moreover, Herasme pointed out that the photo illustrating this false information published on the internet to illustrate the place of this supposed crime, does not correspond to the building of the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in Port-au-Prince (located in Pétion-ville) .
