iciHaiti - Politic : Delivery of Presidential Sashes at the National Pantheon Museum

Monday, in accordance with a law passed in 2006 (carried by Senator Lambert) stipulating that the sashes of the presidents of Haiti, worn during their oath, should join the collection of the Museum of the National Pantheon of Haiti (MUPANAH), the President of the National Assembly, Joseph Lambert accompanied by Senators François Sildor and Hervé Fourcand and Deputy Caleb Desrameaux proceeded to the official delivery of the presidential sashes of René Préval, Michel Joseph Martelly and Jocelerme Privert.
The writer and journalist Émmelie Prophète Milcé, Acting Director General of the MUPANAH thanked for this donation and took the opportunity to appeal to the other institutions to offer the Museum objects that belonged to former Presidents of Haiti.
These sashes will be exhibited soon permanently at the Museum.
