In a tribute ceremony to the leadership and professionalism of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), Michel-Ange Gédéon, the Director General of the PNH awarded the 2018 Departmental Director Award to Commissioner Mario Aubergiste (native of Camp-Perrin).

The Commissioner Aubergiste, the current Departmental Director of the West, obtained 10 votes, ahead of the Commissioner Bornelus Jean Bazelaire (8 votes) Departmental Director of the Artibonite (2nd) and Fritz Saint-Fort, Departmental Director of the Northeast (3rd) with 7 votes.

Gédéon congratulated the Commissioner Aubergiste keeper for his determination and professionalism in the Police and welcomed his contribution, particularly in the formation of the Community Police.
