The Town Hall of the city of Cap-Haïtien congratulates everyone involved Sunday, March 3, the first day of Carnival, which took place without incident.

"The behavior of the population and festival-goers throughout the carnival was an example of tolerance and unity, which shows the cultural strength of our country," underlines the Town Hall which congratulates all masked groups, walking bands, music groups and DJ's who respected the routes and schedules for the first day of the carnival.
