iciHaiti - Technology : The Embassy of the United States partner of Haiti Tech Summit 2019
Haiti Tech Summit (June 20-22, 2019) announces the renewal of its partnership with the United States Embassy in Haiti for the holding of its 3rd annual summit. The Embassy is now an integral part of the experience of this Technology Summit in Haiti, by facilitating the participation of Haitian entrepreneurs. For this year's 2019 edition, the United States will expand its support to Caribbean entrepreneurs.

Recall that in 2018, the US Embassy in Haiti funded the participation of Haitian entrepreneurs from various departments of the country allowing them to attend, present and receive a mentorship of American personalities who exert a certain influence in the field of technology. Emphasis on local entrepreneurs was one of the highlights of this summit.

Since its inception, Haiti Tech Summit has become the largest technology conference in the Caribbean and has always welcomed entrepreneurs from across the region. While continuing to focus on the US-Caribbean 2020 strategy, the US Embassy will support key entrepreneurs of the Caribbean-based Young Leaders Initiative of the Americas (YLAI).
