Saturday, Michael Geilenfeld (67), a native of Iowa (USA), Founder in 1985 of the "Maison Saint-Joseph" orphanage in Port-au-Prince, was arrested in the Dominican Republic, confirmed the Spokesman of the Dominican National Police (PND) Frank Felix Duran Mejia, who did not specify the purpose of the arrest or whether Geilenfeld had been charged, refusing to comment on a possible extradition of Geilenfeld to Haiti.
