The National Federation of Mayors of Haiti (FENAMH) and the Dominican Federation of Municipalities (FEDOMU) have signed an institutional collaboration agreement to promote mutual cooperation relations to encourage and develop the rapprochement and respect between the two Federations.

In this agreement, the two Federations also undertake to promote spaces of articulation and communication between border municipalities on both sides of the border.

The agreement also establishes coordination mechanisms between authorities and local officials to exchange information on best practices for action between the two nations at the local level.
