On Tuesday, 97 Haitians (86 men and 11 women) arrested by officers of the Royal Bahamas Defense Force's Enduring Friendship (RBDF) on June 20, near Castle Island, south of Acklins, appeared before the magistrate Kara Turnquest-Deveaux of the court of Inagua, accused of illegal arrival in the archipelago of Bahamas and sentenced to be expelled.

Wednesday at 9:00 am they were deported to Port-au-Prince according to a statement from the Ministry of Immigration.
