Tuesday, November 5, 2019 around 10:00 pm, the Journalist James Vernelus of Radio Inedit of Petit-Goâve, was assaulted by 3 individuals armed with revolver, machetes and dagger near the Vialet sub-station.

The attackers stripped the journalist of his red-colored mystical handkerchief, two mobile phones and a sum of 7,500 gourdes before threatening him by saying to him "ou pran pòz ou se pi gro jounalis Ti Gwav ,vòlè pa janm joure vòlè."

Radio Préférence condemns this aggression and asks its colleague to continue to perform his work with the same determination while respecting the ethical principles of the profession.
