In a note the Reverend Christian Deméro, President of the League of Pastors of Petit-Goâve explains that after taking the time to observe, analyze and evaluate the situation to fully understand the Haitian crisis, the League of Pastors "realized that the fundamental problem of the Haitian people is a heart problem. There is a void in the heart of the Haitian man that 'Only God could fill' to repeat the famous sentence of Blaise Pascal.

Faced with this situation of miseries, insecurity, insalubrity, poor governance, social injustice, division, misunderstanding, exclusion, lack of education, which are real plagues that gangrenous our society, the Haitian people need to turn their gaze to God who says in 2 Chronicles 7 verse 14 '[...] if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land [...]'

[...] The League of Pastors invites all the Haitian people and the Petit-Gôaviens in particular to seek God wholeheartedly, to humble himself before him while turning away from the evil ways so that God can heal our dear Haiti. Since the independence of Haiti until today, the Haitian people have tried everything except God.
