As part of the strengthening of the border police, 20 border police officers (PoliFront) and 5 of the Anti-Drug Trafficking Brigade (BLTS) have received a one-week of training as trainer, provided by experts from the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on field mission planning, identification of false documents and border security.

This training was organized by the International Organization for Migrants (IOM-Haiti) and funded by the United States Office "International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs" (INL) United States,

The beneficiaries will be responsible to transmit their new knowledge to other PoliFront agents, said Rameau Normil, the acting director of the Haitian National Police (PNH).
