iciHaiti - Social Zone : Supply of 25 community restaurants

The Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) this week replenished with food products a first group of 25 community restaurants distributed in 7 communes in the West department : Port-au-Prince, Delmas, Pétion-ville, Croix- des-Bouquets, Cité Soleil, Tabarre and Cabaret.

These community restaurants are in line with the vision of President Moïse who wants that in these difficult times caused by the Coronavirus, low-income populations continue to find daily hot dishes at low prices (10 Gourdes).

These community restaurants operate in accordance with hygiene standards and the guidelines of the Ministry of Public Health to prevent the contagions and spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus in Haiti.

The supply of these community restaurants benefits from in-kind and financial support from the Government of Taiwan (Republic of China) through its Embassy in Haiti.
