iciHaiti - Petit-Goâve : A 25-year-old man shot dead by the Municipal Police

Thursday around 8:00 p.m., a young MyDemson Malbranche (25 years old) aka "Ti Peter" was shot dead by the Petit-Goâve Municipal Police around 8:00, let's remember that the police of the Town Hall of Petit-Goâve is a body which was set up by Mayor Limongy and which is directed by Archange Leconte.

According to the information collected, "Ti Peter", on whom numerous robbery charges were pending, was actively sought by the Police.

While acknowledging the usefulness and the considerable contribution of this municipal police force in the fight against insecurity and banditry in the Palmes region, listeners on Radio Préférence FM raised their voices to condemn and protest against this "illegal and arbitrary execution" in the context of building a society based on the rule of law which punishes both theft and crime.

Several listeners invited the Municipal Police to be more restrained "We must arrest for Justice and avoid arrest deadly when an alleged culprit does not represent a danger..."
