iciHaiti - Covid-19 : Disinfection of public buildings and spaces

As part of the fight against the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus, the Ministry of the Interior informs that, on instructions from the Prime Minister's Office, it has disinfected various public buildings.

The National Company of Industrial Parks, the Vehicle Inspection Service, located at Delmas 2, the Central Financial Information Unit, the National Coordination for Food Security, the Office of the State Secretariat of Literacy in Pétion - ville, the Unit for the Fight against Corruption, the premises of the Intervention and Maintenance Corps, as well as the offices of the Prime Minister's Office, among others, have been totally disinfected in the past 72 hours.

The buildings concerned were thoroughly disinfected with chlorine and mainly alcohol. In addition, fumigation has been carried out in some cases to combat harmful bacteria and insects.

These provisions, which continue, follow circular #4 from the Prime Minister's Office, dated June 1st, instructing the MICT to disinfect all public offices and spaces.
