Friday, June 12, as part of the Project to Improve Access to Social Services and Employment for the Disabled, funded by the World Bank thanks to a fiduciary donation from Japan, the Office of the Secretary of State to the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH) handed technical materials to young disabled people recruited to access the Public Service https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-31011-haiti-news-zapping.html following the competition organized by the Office of Management and Human Resources (OMRH)

These include, among others, tape recorders, laptops and software, adaptable office chairs with armrests, upper limb prostheses, support sticks, talking and braille watches.

This action meets the requirements of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the law on the integration of people with special needs. It aims to make these people autonomous and more efficient in the execution of the tasks which will be entrusted to them in the Haitian Public Administration.
