Wednesday, June 17, agents of the Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BAC) led an operation to Pèlerin 4 and 5 which led to the arrest of a former police officer Aristil Makerly, well known to the justice system for having already been arrested in 2014, by the Central Direction of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) for complicity in escape and concealing of vehicle.

During the searches carried out within the framework of this operation, the agents of the BAC have seized among others: 10 shirts and uniform of the PNH; 1 tactical uniform jacket; 1 T65 cal. Rifle 5.56mm,; 2 12 gauge rifle; 1 taurus pistol fitted with a magazine stocked with 15 bullets, 4 T65 magazines stocked in total with 171 5.56mm caliber bullets; 11 12-gauge cartridges; 205 7.62 caliber bullets, 1 magazine for M14 rifle, and various materials including 1 bullet proof vest, 1 ballistic helmet, 13 pairs of handcuffs, 2 communication radio, 1 beacon... as well as 2,570 US dollars and 21,250 Gdes.
