Jean Walnard Dorneval, the Minister of Defense says he is "deeply saddened" by the news of the death of Colonel Victor Cinéas of the Armed Forces of Haiti (FAd'H), which occurred in his private residence, on June 30, the age of 77 years old.

The Minister recalls that Colonel Cinéas served the military institution "with honor and merit until the last day of his life". An agronomist by training, a graduate of the State University of Haiti, Colonel Cinéas worked particularly on agricultural farms in the army in the Southeast Department (Thiotte / Savante Zombie). He was in the post of special adviser to the High Staff, responsible for recruiting and training young agronomists to reconstitute the FAd’H agronomists' corps, when death struck him.

In this sad circumstance the Minister Dorneval "presents his most moved sympathies to his family, to the military institution, to the members of the High Staff of the FAd'H, to his classmates and to his close friends."
