Tuesday July 7, in the auditorium of the Notre Dame de Petit-Goâve hospital, Nadia Victoria, Representative of the Réginald Boulos Foundation, in the presence in particular of Dr. Fred Jasmin, Medical Director, Mr. Poisson Administrator and Valérie Chadic Coordinator of the Goâvienne Communal Health Unit (UCS), donated a check of 522,220 Gourdes to the order of Notre Dame de Petit-Goâve hospital.

Chadic declared "[...] this commendable gesture by the Réginald Boulos Foundation, will allow us to increase the physical space of the hospital emergency room. [...] On behalf of the UCS, I would like to thank the Foundation. I would like Nadia to return the thanks from the hospital and the community to Dr. Réginald Boulos."

In her speech, Ms. Nadia thanked the medical staff and indicated the meaning of this gift "[...] It is a pleasure for me to be there. It was as part of efforts to help health centers across the country that we thought of Notre-Dame Hospital in Petit-Goâve. [...] We came to offer this check to this hospital, a modest gesture that we make with all our heart and our whole being. We hope that this donation will help the Management to finance the expansion of the hospital emergency room and it is a duty for the Foundation to contribute to it."

Concluding the ceremony, Dr. Fred Jasmin thanked the Boulos Foundation adding that it is the gesture that counts "The funds received will allow us to expand the emergency, to provide better services to the population following road accidents, to open an emergency laboratory in the emergency room and finally improve the quality of our services..."
